SCORE PREDICTIONS [FIRST HALF]

This week’s top tips and score predictions, brought to you by CXSports — the leader in odds and score predictions.

⚽ Fulham vs Everton
English Premier League
Saturday 10 May; 16:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: If you’re the cautious type, there’s a nice, safe double chance here.

  • CXSports says: The last few times these two have met, the games basically ended in a draw. (We say ā€˜basically’ because a few games ago Fulham managed to win on penalties.) So, does that mean we should expect the same this time? Probably not. Everton’s been struggling on the road lately and, if we extend out head-to-head view past the last three matches, it’s clear Fulham’s been the more dominant side. Plus, Fulham’s playing at home. In short, count on a narrow Fullham victory.

  • Score prediction: 1-0 for Fulham

Option #1

  • Bet: Fulham Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.70-1.90

Option #2

  • Bet: Double Chance (Fulham / Draw)

  • Odds Range: 1.13-1.24

⚽ Ipswich vs Brentford
English Premier League
Saturday 10 May; 16:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Taking a look at Brentford's lack of clean sheets, there’s a nice both-teams-to-score play here.

  • CXSports says: The last time Ipswich managed to score a victory against Brentford was way back in 2017 (and they were playing at home). Since then, Bretford has maintained the upper hand. Now, that’s not to say Brentford will be perfect — they haven’t managed a clean sheet in 17 matches, so it’s probably safe to assume Ipswich might slip through for a sneaky goal — just don’t count on them surpassing Brentford’s tally.

  • Score prediction: 1-2 for Brentford

Option #1

  • Bet: Brentford Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.52-1.70

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (Yes)

  • Odds Range: 1.42-1.61

⚽ Southampton v Man City
English Premier League
Saturday 10 May; 16:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Probably this week’s surest thing.

  • CXSports says: Undefeated in their last five games, Man City’s been on a bit of a roll lately. Southampton’s also been on a bit of a roll, too… that is, if you count losing game after game. That should tip you off to how this game’s likely going to end.

  • Score prediction: 0-3 for Manchester City

Option #1

  • Bet: Man City Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.15-1.24

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (No)

  • Odds Range: 1.80-2.00

⚽ Wolves vs Brighton
English Premier League
Saturday 10 May; 16:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: There’s some nice big odds here on a high probability Wolves victory.

  • CXSports says: It’s been hard not to notice the Wolves’ impressive form in recent games, even if their most recent match did end in a defeat. With that said, that defeat was by a single goal, and it was against Man City, a vastly superior team. Brighton, on the other hand, is a little more closely matched (#10). What’s more, their recent form hasn’t been great, with just a single win in their last five games. In short, this will probably finish in the Wolves’ favor, although there’s still a chance Brighton could manage a draw.

  • Score prediction: 2-1 for Wolves

Option #1

  • Bet: Wolves Victory

  • Odds Range: 2.35-2.74

Option #2

  • Bet: Double Chance (Wolves / Draw)

  • Odds Range: 1.38-1.54

SCORE PREDICTIONS [SECOND HALF]

⚽ Newcastle vs Chelsea
English Premier League
Sunday 11 May; 13:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: There’s another solid double chance here for those who like to play it safe.

  • CXSports says: Try spotting the differences between these two — there aren’t many. Both have been in a similar overall form, and the head-to-head history between these two is mixed — in general, over the last couple of years, whoever’s playing at home comes out on top. The only exception here was a 1-1 draw in the EFL cup back in December 2023. With Newcastle’s formidable form at home this season, expect to see a continuation of the head-to-head pattern (home side victory, or a slight chance of a draw).

  • Score prediction: 2-1 for Newcastle

Option #1

  • Bet: Newcastle Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.90-2.12

Option #2

  • Bet: Double Chance (Newcastle / Draw)

  • Odds Range: 1.22-1.37

⚽ Man United vs West Ham
English Premier League
Sunday 11 May; 15:15 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Honestly, we probably won’t be watching this one.

  • CXSports says: Over the course of the last five head-to-heads between Man United and West Ham, each game has ended in a home side victory. And, with both teams being in equally miserable form right now, there’s not much reason to think that will change in this game. In short, count on a Man United victory.

  • Score prediction: 1-0 for Man United

Option #1

  • Bet: Man United Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.82-2.02

Option #2

  • Bet: Draw No Bet (Man United)

  • Odds Range: 1.31-1.47

⚽ Nottingham Forest vs Leicester City
English Premier League
Sunday 11 May; 15:15 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Because we can count on a nice, solid Forest victory here.

  • CXSports says: With certain relegation on the horizon, it’s hard to make the case for Leicester City as a team with much hope here. But let’s not forget that, once upon a time (way back in 2022) destroyed Nottingham Forest 4-0. Of course, that’s more nostalgia/ancient history than it is a useful stat, so don’t count on that happening again anytime soon.

  • Score prediction: 2-0 for Nottingham Forest

Option #1

  • Bet: Nottingham Forest Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.20-1.35

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams To Score (No)

  • Odds Range: 1.61-1.85

⚽ Liverpool vs Arsenal
English Premier League
Sunday 11 May; 17:30 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Because it’s the top 2 teams in the topflight — great soccer’s practically guaranteed!

  • CXSports says: So far this season, it’s usually been a bit of a no-brainer to give Arsenal the edge in basically every fixture they’ve played. But, with the title in the bag and confirmation coming through that Slot’s rotating players, things aren’t so sure. Now, that doesn’t mean Liverpool’s going to take an easy victory here — not by a long shot. But, if they can keep their heads down and play some decent soccer, they’ve got a good chance of coming out in front. Otherwise, this will probably end in a draw.

  • Score prediction: 2-1 for Liverpool

Option #1

  • Bet: Liverpool Victory

  • Odds Range: 2.05-2.21

Option #2

  • Bet: Double Chance (Liverpool / Draw)

  • Odds Range: 1.25-1.35
