SCORE PREDICTIONS [FIRST HALF]

This week’s top tips and score predictions, brought to you by CXSports — the leader in odds and score predictions.

⚽ Bournemouth vs Leicester City
English Premier League
Sunday 25 May; 17:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Honestly, we might not watch this. There’s better action just below.

  • CXSports says: The past history between these two has been a bit of a mixed bag, with a fairly even blend of draws, wins, and losses for each side. However, that might not be the best indication of what’s ahead this time. With Leicester City already consigned to relegation and Bournemouth showing some reasonable form (especially from key players like Solanke and Kluivert), it would seem Bournemouth holds a bigger edge than they’ve historically had in this fixture. Throw the home advantage in for good measure, and things are suddenly looking really good.

  • Score prediction: 2-1 or Bournemouth

Option #1

  • Bet: Bournemouth Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.25-1.37

Option #2

  • Bet: Double Chance (Bournemouth / Draw)

  • Odds Range: 1.06-1.10

⚽ Fulham vs Manchester City
English Premier League
Sunday 25 May; 17:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: If history has a habit of repeating itself, then this one’s in the bag for Man City.

  • CXSports says: Let’s keep this one simple. The last time Fulham won a game against Man City was all the way back in 2009. Since then, Manchester City has dominated this fixture, regardless of whether they’re playing at home or on the road. Of course, there have been a couple of draws… but the last time that happened was in 2011. What more needs to be said?

  • Score prediction: 1-2 for Man City

Option #1

  • Bet: Man City Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.56-1.69

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (Yes)

  • Odds Range: 1.50-1.62

⚽ Ipswich vs West Ham
English Premier League
Sunday 25 May; 17:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Big odds on a high-probability West Ham victory. What’s not to like about that?

  • CXSports says: The last time these two met back in October last year, West Ham absolutely demolished Ipswich in a 4-1 humiliation. Since then, Ipswich has only continued to further humiliate itself (just four wins all season), while West Ham… well, they haven’t done amazing, but they’re still miles ahead. In short, this should be another easy victory for West Ham.

  • Score prediction: 1-2 for West Ham

Option #1

  • Bet: West Ham Victory

  • Odds Range: 2.05-2.22

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (Yes)

  • Odds Range: 1.41-1.52

⚽ Liverpool vs Crystal Palace
English Premier League
Sunday 25 May; 17:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching:

  • CXSports says: Liverpool has certainly started to slack off a little since they wrapped up the EPL title. But that doesn’t mean they’re not going to be dangerous here. Playing at home and probably wanting to finish the season on a high note, you can bet they’ll be back to their A game in this one. Given the fact that Palace’s recent form is probably best described as ā€œmehā€, it should be clear who’s going to come out on top here.

  • Score prediction: 3-1 for Liverpool

Option #1

  • Bet: Liverpool Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.28-1.46

Option #2

  • Bet: Correct Score (3-1)

  • Odds Range: 8.50-12.00

SCORE PREDICTIONS [SECOND HALF]

⚽ Manchester United vs Aston Villa
English Premier League
Sunday 25 May; 17:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: With solid odds being offered on a Villa victory and little chance Man United does anything meaningful, you don’t want to miss this game.

  • CXSports says: If you’re the type who likes to say things nicely, then you’d probably describe Man United’s season as ā€œchallengingā€. As for the rest of us, we’d prefer to describe it as atrocious Aston Villa, on the other hand, hasn’t done too badly for itself (they might even manage to qualify for a European berth). About the only thing Man United has going for them is a home advantage, but we doubt they’ll make it count for much.

  • Score prediction: 1-2 for Aston Villa

Option #1

  • Bet: Aston Villa Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.63-1.82

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (Yes)

  • Odds Range: 1.45-1.63

⚽ Newcastle vs Everton
English Premier League
Sunday 25 May; 17:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Wanna watch a high-flying team potentially crash and burn? Then watch this game… just don’t bet against them.

  • CXSports says: Right now, Newcastle’s nerves have gotta be sky high. While they’re currently seated in third, the only thing keeping them there is a superior goal difference. One slip-up here and it could be straight back to the mid-table. Everton, on the other hand… well, they’ll be finishing at the lower end of the table regardless of what happens this week. And that probably says a lot about their prospects for this match.

  • Score prediction: 2-0 for Newcastle

Option #1

  • Bet: Newcastle Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.25-1.37

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (No)

  • Odds Range: 1.77-1.96

⚽ Southampton vs Arsenal
English Premier League
Sunday 25 May; 17:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Ever wanted to bet on Conor McGregor vs Your Grandpa? Yeah, this is soccer and not MMA, but it’s still close enough…

  • CXSports says: If we had to pick one word to describe Southampton’s chances here, that word would probably be an acronym — ā€œLOLā€. Enough said.

  • Score prediction: 0-3 for Arsenal

Option #1

  • Bet: Arsenal Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.25-1.43

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (No)

  • Odds Range: 1.80-2.00

⚽ Wolves vs Brentford
English Premier League
Sunday 25 May; 17:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Given the goal scoring/conceding record of both teams here, there’s a high probability both-teams-to-score play here.

  • CXSports says: Fun fact — outside of the relegation zone, these two teams are among the worst-performing teams insofar as goals conceded goes. They’ve also both managed to offset those losses with semi-respectable goals-for tallies, albeit with Brentford doing much better on this front. Already, that should set up some expectations for a high-scoring game where Brentford holds the edge. Still, with the Wolves playing at home, who knows what could happen? In short, about the only thing we’re confident enough to call here is ā€œexpect goalsā€.

  • Score prediction: 2-3 or 3-2 for either side

Option #1

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (Yes)

  • Odds Range: 1.35-1.51

Option #2

  • Bet: Double Chance (Wolves/Brentford)

  • Odds Range: 1.22-1.31
