SCORE PREDICTIONS [FIRST HALF]

This week’s top tips and score predictions, brought to you by CXSports — the leader in odds and score predictions.

Everton vs West Ham
English Premier League
Saturday 15 March; 16:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: There’s a nice over/under play here with some solid odds relative to the probability.

  • CXSports says: Neither Everton nor West Ham have been particularly effective in defense this season, with both having reasonably high goals against tallies. However, both are also facing injury concerns in their attack, which throws some doubt over whether either side will effectively break through the other’s defense. In short, this will probably be a reasonably low-scoring game that’s more likely to end in a draw than anything else, although there’s still a chance that Everton could use their home advantage to break through for a win.

  • Score prediction: 1-1 draw or 1-0 for Everton

Option #1

  • Bet: Over/Under (Under 2.5)

  • Odds Range: 1.47-1.58

Option #2

  • Bet: Double Chance (Everton / Draw)

  • Odds Range: 1.24-1.32

Ipswich vs Nottingham Forest
English Premier League
Saturday 15 March; 16:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: We almost can’t believe the odds being offered on Nottingham here — they’re huge!

  • CXSports says: Ipswich has been struggling big time and is now battling relegation. What’s more, they’re coming into this game defensively crippled with a few key players sidelined due to injuries. Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest is in strong enough form that they’re a real contender for a Champions League spot come the end of this season. That should tell you everything you need to know about how this one plays out.

  • Score prediction: 0-2 for Nottingham Forest

Option #1

  • Bet: Nottingham Forest Victory

  • Odds Range: 2.00-2.08

Option #2

  • Bet: Over/Under (Under 3.5)

  • Odds Range: 1.28-1.32

Manchester City vs Brighton
English Premier League
Saturday 15 March; 16:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Honestly, we might not be watching this one. But if you’re a Man City or Brighton fan, then go ahead!

  • CXSports says: After their 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest, Manchester City will be coming into this game feeling the pressure if they want to maintain their position in the Champions League race. Brighton, on the other hand, will be feeling pretty confident with four back-to-back wins in the lead-up. And let’s not forget what happened the last time these two met, where Brighton walked away with a 2-1 win. With that said, it’s hard to ignore City’s massive home advantage here — if they don’t let the pressure get to them, they should just come out on top.

  • Score prediction: 2-1 for Manchester City

Option #1

  • Bet: Manchester City Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.57-1.69

Option #2

  • Bet: Over/Under (Under 4.5)

  • Odds Range: 1.21-1.27

Southampton vs Wolves
English Premier League
Saturday 15 March; 16:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Given the probability the Wolves will come out on top, the available odds are absolutely massive.

  • CXSports says: Southampton’s currently dead last in the Premier League with 9 points from 28 matches. That would normally sum up the game right there. However, Wolves haven’t exactly been performing to their usual standards recently, so it might not be an impossible challenge for Southampton to at least put up a little bit of a fight. Maybe not enough to win, but certainly enough to not get beaten down as hard as they did the last time these two met.

  • Score prediction: 1-2 for Wolves

Option #1

  • Bet: Wolves Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.95-2.12

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (Yes)

  • Odds Range: 1.54-1.63

SCORE PREDICTIONS [SECOND HALF]

Bournemouth vs Brentford
English Premier League
Saturday 15 March; 18:30 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: We’re looking forward to watching Bournemouth take a runaway win.

  • CXSports says: This season, Bournemouth has shown itself to be effective in fast-break scenarios — a particular tactical weakness Brentford has shown this season that could compound their generally ineffective defense. Combine this with a strong home advantage, and there’s a good chance we could see a reasonably one-sided, high-scoring match that sees Bournemouth come out very clearly on top.

  • Score prediction: 3-1 for Bournemouth

Option #1

  • Bet: Bournemouth Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.71-1.77

Option #2

  • Bet: Over/Under (Over 2.5)

  • Odds Range: 1.34-1.42

Arsenal vs Chelsea
English Premier League
Sunday 16 March; 14:30 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Arsenal’s home advantage is just too hard to ignore here.

  • CXSports says: The last two times these two teams met on Arsenal’s home turf, Arsenal took the victory convincingly (5-0 and 3-1). The last two times they met on Chelsea’s home turf, the game ended in a draw. That should give a pretty clear picture of where this game’s headed.

  • Score prediction: 2-1 for Arsenal

Option #1

  • Bet: Arsenal Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.77-1.84

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (Yes)

  • Odds Range: 1.64-1.71

Fulham vs Tottenham
English Premier League
Sunday 16 March; 14:30 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Because the Spurs are looking so beaten down, it’s hard not to bet against them!

  • CXSports says: Right now, Tottenham’s injury/suspension list is one of the longest in the league (6 injuries, 1 suspension). That’s already got them hurting, and it’ll only be compounded if Fulham uses its home advantage to its fullest. With that said, Fulham’s form coming into this game isn’t at its highest, so this could still be a tight contest.

  • Score prediction: 2-1 for Fulham

Option #1

  • Bet: Fullham Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.87-2.02

Option #2

  • Bet: Over/Under (Under 3.5)

  • Odds Range: 1.48-1.52

Leicester City vs Manchester United
English Premier League
Sunday 16 March; 20:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Manchester United’s recent uptick in form has us confident about backing them here. Especially given Leicester’s disastrous performances.

  • CXSports says: Go take a look at the EPL ladder and see if you can spot the only team that’s lit up red. Yep, that’s five straight losses. Now, of course, United hasn’t been showing the most stellar form either, but they’re still miles ahead of Leicester, especially considering their slight uplift in their most recent fixtures. In short, expect to see United come out on top here, even without the home advantage on their side.

  • Score prediction: 2-0 for Manchester United

Option #1

  • Bet: Manchester United Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.71-1.86

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (No)

  • Odds Range: 1.97-2.05
