SCORE PREDICTIONS [FIRST HALF]

This week’s top tips and score predictions, brought to you by CXSports — the leader in odds and score predictions.

⚽ Manchester City vs Crystal Palace
English Premier League
Saturday 12 April; 13:30 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Great odds on a fairly certain victory for City.

  • CXSports says: Manchester City’s got a renewed focus on their EPL campaign after crashing out in Europe and are now looking like they may well pull off a top four finish. Palace, meanwhile, is a relatively ordinary mid-table mainstay, although they did hold City to a 2–2 draw the last time they met. Of course, with City’s renewed focus, that might not be possible this time.

  • Score prediction: 2-1 for Manchester City

Option #1

  • Bet: Manchester City Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.43-1.54

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (Yes)

  • Odds Range: 1.61-1.70

⚽ Southampton vs Aston Villa
English Premier League
Saturday 12 April; 16:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: More great odds on another high-probability outcome.

  • CXSports says: Aston Villa’s another side with a chance at a top four finish, and they’re certainly pushing hard for it. Compare that to Southampton who’s basically in freefall mode. with 24 losses in 29 matches. You don’t need to know much more to know which team has the clear edge here.

  • Score prediction: 0-1 for Aston Villa

Option #1

  • Bet: Aston Villa Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.51-1.60

Option #2

  • Bet: First Team to Score (Aston Villa)

  • Odds Range: 1.33-1.48

⚽ Nottingham Forest vs Everton
English Premier League
Saturday 12 April; 16:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: The odds on Nottingham are massive relative to their chances, although there is a safer play here.

  • CXSports says: Who would’ve imagined Nottingham Forest would worm its way into third place this season? What a surprise package! Everton, on the other hand, is exactly where we expected them to be — fighting hard for survival once again. That should pretty much sum up where each team stands in this game.

  • Score prediction: 2-0 for Nottingham Forest

Option #1

  • Bet: Nottingham Forest Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.92-2.11

Option #2

  • Bet: Draw no Bet (Nottingham Forest)

  • Odds Range: 1.41-1.50

⚽ Brighton vs Leicester City
English Premier League
Saturday 12 April; 16:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: While these aren’t the best value odds of the week, it is a reasonably sure thing.

  • CXSports says: Last time these two met, Brighton somehow let a 2–0 lead slip away from them in the final minutes, allowing Leicester to somehow steal a 2–2 draw. This time, however, we expect Brighton to be much more alert, leaving Leicester City with little hope for a repeat performance.

  • Score prediction: 2-1 for Brighton

Option #1

  • Bet: Brighton Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.22-1.32

Option #2

  • Bet: Draw No Bet (Brighton)

  • Odds Range: 1.04-1.08

SCORE PREDICTIONS [SECOND HALF]

⚽ Chelsea vs Ipswich
English Premier League
Sunday 13 April; 15:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Chelsea’s chances here are so good that we’d feel like fools if we passed on this opportunity.

  • CXSports says: Chelsea has been struggling to keep consistent form this season, although they are still clinging to fourth place. Ipswich, in contrast, is pretty much dead in the water with just four wins all season. In short, Chelsea should be the clear favorite here, despite Ipswich’s shock 2–0 victory last time these two met.

  • Score prediction: 2-0 or 3-1 for Chelsea

Option #1

  • Bet: Chelsea Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.27-1.36

Option #2

  • Bet: First Team to Score (Chelsea)

  • Odds Range: 1.21-1.35

⚽ Liverpool vs West Ham
English Premier League
Sunday 13 April; 15:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Solid odds on an unstoppable Liverpool team that’ll very likely crush their opponents.

  • CXSports says: Liverpool is practically unstoppable at this point and has only lost two games all season. Meanwhile, West Ham is in struggle town, with 14 losses against just nine wins. That doesn’t bode well for West Ham. Moreover, when you consider the fact that Liverpool destroyed West Ham last time these two met with a massive 5–0 scoreline.

  • Score prediction: 4-1 for Liverpool

Option #1

  • Bet: Liverpool Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.23-1.33

Option #2

  • Bet: First Team to Score (Liverpool)

  • Odds Range: 1.25-1.32

⚽ Wolves vs Tottenham
English Premier League
Sunday 13 April; 15:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: It’s a bit of a risk, but the reward on a Wolves victory is definitely worth it.

  • CXSports says: Wolves have technically had a worse season than Tottenham this year, but recent form says otherwise. In their last five games, the Wolves have won three and drawn once, while Tottenham has suffered three losses. Throw the Wolves' home-ground advantage into the mix, and they may just come out on top.

  • Score prediction: 2-1 for Wolves or a 2-2 draw

Option #1

  • Bet: Wolves Victory

  • Odds Range: 2.17-2.35

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (Yes)

  • Odds Range: 1.45-1.56

⚽ Newcastle vs Manchester United
English Premier League
Sunday 13 April; 17:30 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Huge odds on a high-probability Newcastle victory.

  • CXSports says: The last time these two met, Newcastle secured a solid 2–0 win after netting two early goals and defending right to the end. What’s more, Newcastle is coming into this with some strong form in recent games, along with a non-negligible home-ground advantage. As such, expect a similar result this time around.

  • Score prediction: 3-1 for Newcastle.

Option #1

  • Bet: Newcastle Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.65-1.79

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (Yes)

  • Odds Range: 1.53-1.67
