SCORE PREDICTIONS [FIRST HALF]

This week’s top tips and score predictions, brought to you by CXSports — the leader in odds and score predictions.

⚽Brighton vs Leeds
šŸŸļøEnglish Premier League
Saturday 01 Nov; 16:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: There’s a slight (very slight) chance of a draw pushing up the odds on a (very likely) Brighton victory here, making this a great value play.

  • CXSports says: Let’s rattle off a few quick stats. First, Brighton’s performance in past head-to-heads is clearly superior — in semi-recent history, Leeds have failed to beat Brighton even once (2D, 2W for Brighton in the last 4). Then we’ve got the not insignificant fact that Brighton is undefeated at home this season with a goal difference of +2. Leeds, on the other hand, have posted a terrible away record — in 4 away matches they’ve suffered 3 losses. As for how this game plays out, we can’t rule out the possibility of a draw entirely. But it’s so unlikely that it’s barely even worth thinking about. In all likelihood, this game will most likely end with a convincing Brighton victory.

  • Score prediction: 2-0 for Brighton

Option #1

  • Bet: Brighton Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.65-1.88

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (No)

  • Odds Range: 1.93-2.10

⚽Burnley vs Arsenal
šŸŸļøEnglish Premier League
Saturday 01 Nov; 16:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: This week’s surest play in the EPL with some killer odds given Arsenal’s near-certain chances here.

  • CXSports says: This match doesn’t really need much to be said about it. Arsenal’s topping the league while Burnley’s trailing way back in 16th place. And if that doesn’t tell you everything you need to know, then why not take a look at the past head-to-head history between these two — in the last 10 games, Arsenal’s come out on top 8 times, Burnley once, and the other game was a draw. And if that wasn’t convincing enough, then consider this — Arsenal’s goal difference across those 10 games is +12. Given that, we think it’s pretty safe to say this one will be an easy victory for Arsenal. In fact, there’s a pretty good chance it’ll end in a clean sheet.

  • Score prediction: 0-3 for Arsenal

Option #1

  • Bet: Arsenal Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.18-1.31

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (No)

  • Odds Range: 1.45-1.70

⚽Crystal Palace vs Brentford
šŸŸļøEnglish Premier League
Saturday 01 Nov; 16:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: This one’s for the punters who’re looking for a long shot that’s not too long.

  • CXSports says: At first glance, this one looks like it should tilt in Palace’s favor. They are, after all, undefeated at home this season. But it’s also hard to ignore the fact that Brentford’s coming into this with a bit of momentum (2 back-to-back victories, whereas Palace has a draw and a loss) while also holding a historical upper hand in this fixture. But here’s where things get interesting — in their last 10, Palace has won just once, Brentford has won thrice, and the other six games ended in draws. So, where does that leave us with this match? Let’s just say it’s too close to call, but if forced to pick an outcome, a draw seems more likely than not.

  • Score prediction: 1-1 draw

Option #1

  • Bet: Draw

  • Odds Range: 3.30-3.75

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (Yes)

  • Odds Range: 1.57-1.70

⚽Fulham vs Wolves
šŸŸļøEnglish Premier League
Saturday 01 Nov; 16:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Given past head-to-head stats, there’s a nice over/under play here with some solid odds given the chances of seeing some goals in this game.

  • CXSports says: This one’s another too close to call game (we’ll get to that in a bit), so let’s kick off with something you can take to the bank — the average goals per game in past Fulham vs Wolves H2Hs fixtures is 2.66. Now, as for why this one’s too close to call — despite their struggles this season, Wolves have done a decent job (all things considered) of securing at least a couple of draws in their last five games, which is perhaps a sign that they’re not as down and out as we might think (they’re still down and out, but at least they broke their losing streak). Now, that doesn’t mean Wolves are going to upset Fulham at home here, but it does mean we can’t be 100% certain they won’t somehow manage to hold Fulham to a draw.

  • Score prediction: 2-1 for Fulham or 2-2 draw

Option #1

  • Bet: Over/Under (over 1.5)

  • Odds Range: 1.23-1.38

Option #2

  • Bet: Double Chance (Fulham / Draw)

  • Odds Range: 1.14-1.23

HALF TIME ENTERTAINMENT

SCORE PREDICTIONS [SECOND HALF]

⚽Tottenham vs Chelsea
šŸŸļøEnglish Premier League
Saturday 01 Nov; 18:30 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: A nice, solid double chance play with great chances and some decent value odds to go with it.

  • CXSports says: Historically, Chelsea has dominated this fixture (24W, 8L, 12D), but those games were a different era. As it stands right now, Tottenham has arguably been playing much better football. For instance, they’re averaging 1.89 goals scored per match and just 0.78 goals conceded, while Chelsea’s closer to 1.56 scored per game and 1.22 conceded. With that said, Tottenham’s been acting a little weird this season by delivering stronger results on the road than at home, so we might just see this match that’s a lot closer than anything else this week. So close, in fact, that we’re backing either side to take the victory here (with a very slim chance of a draw).

  • Score prediction: 1-2 or 2-1 for either side.

Option #1

  • Bet: Double Chance (Tottenham / Chelsea)

  • Odds Range: 1.21-1.32

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (Yes)

  • Odds Range: 1.45-1.62

⚽Liverpool vs Aston Villa
šŸŸļøEnglish Premier League
Saturday 01 Nov; 21:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: If you’re a believer in momentum, this is the one for you — massive odds on offer if both sides continue their current streaks.

  • CXSports says: Something’s up with Liverpool — four straight losses after opening the season looking like they were in top form. As for what’s really going on, we can’t really say. All we can do is point to the symptoms, such as their leaky defense that’s conceded a massive 14 goals this season. As for Villa, they’re arriving at this match with a bit of momentum behind them — after a lackluster opening to the season, they’ve just posted four straight back-to-back victories. So this week, we’re forgetting about past head-to-head history and Liverpool’s theoretical dominance. Instead, we’re backing the momentum and tipping an Aston Villa victory, albeit by a narrow margin.

  • Score prediction: 1-2 for Aston Villa

Option #1

  • Bet: Aston Villa

  • Odds Range: 4.65-5.75

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (Yes)

  • Odds Range: 1.47-1.65

⚽West Ham vs Newcastle
šŸŸļøEnglish Premier League
Sunday 02 Nov; 15:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Probably not the most exciting game we’ve got for you this week, but it’s still worth taking a look at if only for the fact that it’s the only EPL match at this time on Sunday.

  • CXSports says: The last time these two met (back in March), West Ham just managed to edge it 1-0. But since then, they’ve gone on to demonstrate remarkably poor form — 0.78 goals scored per match against 2.22. conceded. Not that we need to say it, but that’s shockingly bad. Newcastle, on the other hand, has performed decently this season, even if there’s nothing remarkable to speak of — an even blend of results, a balanced goal difference, and a comfortable (lower) mid-table position. And that’s probably all the stability needed to topple West Ham in this game without too much difficulty.

  • Score prediction: 1-2 for Newcastle

Option #1

  • Bet: Newcastle Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.50-1.67

Option #2

  • Bet: Over/Under (Over 2.5)

  • Odds Range: 1.62-1.80

⚽Man City vs Bournemouth
šŸŸļøEnglish Premier League
Sunday 02 Nov; 17:30 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Great value odds on Man City, who just so happen to have a near-perfect record in this fixture!

  • CXSports says: Bournemouth got this season off to an exceptionally solid start, but seems to have lost some of its momentum since then, despite the fact it’s still clinging to second place on the table. Man City, on the other hand, seems to be gradually shoring up their performance with a notably better run in their last five games compared to their season-opening performance. That should give them some confidence coming into this game — confidence that will only be further reinforced by their historical dominance in this fixture (a near-perfect record of 17 victories in the last 18 matches). Expect that record to continue into this game.

  • Score prediction: 3-1 for Man City

Option #1

  • Bet: Man City Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.36-1.52

Option #2

  • Bet: Over/Under (Over 2.5)

  • Odds Range: 1.39-1.57
