SCORE PREDICTIONS [FIRST HALF]

This week’s top tips and score predictions, brought to you by CXSports — the leader in odds and score predictions.

⚽ Chelsea vs Everton
🏟️ English Premier League
Saturday 13 December; 16:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Killer odds on offer given the high-probability of a Chelsea victory here.

  • CXSports says: Look at recent head-to-head data in this fixture, and it’s pretty clear who’s most likely to come out on top here — in their last 5, Chelsea’s taken the victory in 4. And things only start looking even more one-sided once we start pulling in a few more stats. Notably, Chelsea’s home scoring rate (about 2 goals per game while only conceding 1) compared with Brighton’s away defense, which is leaking at a rate of around ~1.8 goals per game. With that said, Everton does occasionally manage a consolation goal, even in their losses, so we can’t necessarily expect this to be a clean sheet for Chelsea, even if we can’t rule it out.

  • Score prediction: 3-1 for Chelsea

Option #1

  • Bet: Chelsea Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.50-1.72

Option #2

  • Bet: Over/Under (Over 2.5)

  • Odds Range: 1.72-1.94

⚽ Liverpool vs Brighton
🏟️ English Premier League
Saturday 13 December; 16:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: Yet another game with killer odds given the balance of probabilities.

  • CXSports says: Liverpool should come out on top here. Their home scoring rate is currently about 2.2 goals per game, while Brighton’s away defense is ‘shaky’, at best (about 1.5 goals conceded per game). What’s more, recent head-to-heads show Liverpool can impose themselves big time in this fixture, with several meetings producing 2+ goal victories. Of course, Brighton can score from time to time, so we won’t be surprised if they manage to slip one through at some point. Just don’t go expecting them to hold off Liverpool's fierce attack for the full 90 minutes. They won’t.

  • Score prediction: 3-1 for Liverpool

Option #1

  • Bet: Liverpool Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.57-1.75

Option #2

  • Bet: Over/Under (Over 2.5)

  • Odds Range: 1.38-1.55

⚽ Burnley vs Fulham
🏟️ English Premier League
Saturday 13 December; 18:30 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: We like the look of the over/under play here, given Burnley’s tendency to score multiple goals per game right now.

  • CXSports says: Burnley are not in great shape right now — five straight losses, leaking nearly two goals per game (1.94), and scoring just over one in response. Not good. About the only thing going in their favor right now is their historical record vs Fulham. But let’s be honest here — a slight “psychological” boost is basically worthless when the football’s not up to scratch to begin with. Now, with that said, Fulham aren’t exactly on top of the world right now either — they are fragile. But, and this is important, they do have enough attacking spark left to punish Burnley’s leaky backline, with their season average (1.33 goals per game) suggesting they’ll have no trouble breaking through a couple of times.

  • Score prediction: 1-2 for Fulham

Option #1

  • Bet: Fulham Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.80-2.02

Option #2

  • Bet: Over/Under (Over 1.5)

  • Odds Range: 1.21-1.36

⚽ Arsenal vs Wolves
🏟️ English Premier League
Saturday 13 December; 21:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: The fact that the odds haven’t collapsed to basically nothing here is beyond us. Snap this one up. Now.

  • CXSports says: If you ever wanted to know what “a football team collapsing” looks like, then look no further than Wolves’ 2025-26 campaign. Bottom of the table, nonstop losses, defensive leaks everywhere, and no sign of an attacking return. Arsenal, meanwhile, has been having the polar opposite of a season. Top of the table, dominating victories, and a defense so tight it would put a nun to shame. And as if that wasn’t enough, just take a look at which side’s on the road here. TL;DR — Arsenal takes this one with ease.

  • Score prediction: 3-0 for Arsenal

Option #1

  • Bet: Arsenal Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.06-1.16

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (No)

  • Odds Range: 1.30-1.50

SCORE PREDICTIONS [SECOND HALF]

⚽ Crystal Palace vs Man City
🏟️ English Premier League
Sunday 14 December; 15:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: We’re sold on the case for a draw here. The odds just sealed the deal.

  • CXSports says: The consensus has City as the favorites here. And, after all, why wouldn’t they be? Their ability to consistently score (2.4 goals per match in recent head-to-heads) suggests (on paper at least) that they’ve got the firepower to overwhelm here. But here’s the thing — Palace is in pretty decent shape right now. Their current form has them scoring about 1.3 goals per game at home while conceding less than a goal on average. If they can keep that up, that’s going to throw a serious spanner in City’s attack-heavy style. Now, that’s not to say they’re going to take the victory here — far from it. However, there’s a pretty good chance they could keep this one contained to a draw.

  • Score prediction: 1-1 draw

Option #1

  • Bet: Draw

  • Odds Range: 3.40-4.00

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (Yes)

  • Odds Range: 1.48-1.65

⚽ Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham
🏟️ English Premier League
Sunday 14 December; 15:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: The odds on Tottenham are relatively huge given their chances here. Yeah, it’s not a sure thing, but it’s hard to turn your nose up at value like that.

  • CXSports says: Tottenham’s been relatively consistent with their offense these days (1.59 goals/game). Put that up against Forest’s home defensive weakness (they’ve conceded in the last 11 home games), and we’ll find the home side will probably find itself under some serious pressure on them from the get-go here. Of course, Forest isn’t exactly a pushover squad when inspiration strikes — not by a team of Tottenham’s standards — and they can score when the moment’s right (although they're only averaging 1.04 goals). But here, we’re talking sporadic, inconsistent results, not something reliable and repeatable. As such, the edge goes to Tottenham here with the small chance of a Forest surprise.

  • Score prediction: 2-1 or 1-2 for either side

Option #1

  • Bet: Double Chance (Forest / Tottenham)

  • Odds Range: 1.18-1.36

Option #2

  • Bet: Tottenham Victory

  • Odds Range: 2.53-2.88

⚽ Sunderland vs Newcastle
🏟️ English Premier League
Sunday 14 December; 15:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: If you’re willing to put a little faith in Sunderland to live up to their potential once more, then this one’s hard to ignore.

  • CXSports says: Sunderland will be coming into this derby full of confidence. They’re at home, they’ve shown they can score at home, and, historically, they haven’t been an easy side for Newcastle to crack. What’s more, their recent home performances have delivered some solid results, even if they’re not entirely invincible. With that said, Newcastle will be arriving with some attacking potency — they’ve got 21 goals for the season so far and a few recent victories propping up morale and giving them the better momentum. The only question is, will it be enough to break Sunderland at home? Our guess is probably not.

  • Score prediction: 2-1 for Sunderland

Option #1

  • Bet: Sunderland Victory

  • Odds Range: 2.90-3.54

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (Yes)

  • Odds Range: 1.56-1.75

⚽ West Ham vs Aston Villa
🏟️ English Premier League
Sunday 14 December; 15:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • Why we’re watching: This could be the most perfect combination of great chances/great odds this week, with Villa almost guaranteed the victory while still paying out around double your stake.

  • CXSports says: Villa’s been averaging 1.46 goals-per-match this season and has five straight victories in their last five games. Now compare that with the home squad, who’ve barely managed to score a goal per game (1.13) and have a hodge-podge of results mostly made up of losses and draws. And let’s not forget to talk about their woeful defense, which is currently leaking almost 2 goals per game (1.93 goals per game). That should set this game up as a relatively easy walk in the park for the visitors, even if the (very slim) possibility of a draw can’t be ruled out entirely.

  • Score prediction: 1-2 for Aston Villa

Option #1

  • Bet: Aston Villa Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.88-2.08

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (Yes)

  • Odds Range: 1.53-1.71

This one’s simple. While Toney’s talking about a very specific situation here, the lesson here is more general.

Actions speak louder than words.
