SCORE PREDICTIONS [FIRST HALF]

This week’s top tips and score predictions, brought to you by CXSports — the leader in odds and score predictions.

⚽ Croatia vs Faroe Islands
šŸŸļø UEFA World Cup Qualification (Round 9)
Friday 14 Nov; 20:45 (Europe/Paris)

  • CXSports says: Croatia is undeniably solid at both ends of the field — attacking and defending. In this campaign, they’re averaging about 2.3 goals scored at home while conceding only around 0.5. Faroe Islands, on the other hand, are only managing to score at about half that rate 1.2 per game) while conceding at almost triple the rate of Croatia (1.4 per match) in this campaign. And if that wasn’t enough, let’s not forget that Croatia already defeated Faroe 1-0 in the first leg of this fixture. In short, expect to see Croatia do more of the same, only at a bigger scale now that they’re back on home turf.

  • Score prediction: 3-0 for Croatia

Option #1

  • Bet: Croatia Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.03-1.11

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (No)

  • Odds Range: 1.13-1.30

⚽ Luxembourg vs Germany
šŸŸļø UEFA World Cup Qualification (Round 9)
Friday 14 Nov; 20:45 (Europe/Paris)

  • CXSports says: We’re not going to pretend that Germany’s invincible here — their recent away loss to Slovakia demonstrates that beyond a shadow of a doubt. But, let’s be serious for a moment — while an upset isn’t entirely off the cards, the probability of Luxembourg pulling that off is so astronomically small you’d be better off forgetting those chances even exist. For starters, they’ve already got a poor H2H record against Germany (Germany defeated them 4-0). And this wasn’t a once-off, either. All throughout this campaign, Luxembourg has been conceding multiple goals per match, whereas Germany’s managed to keep their average under 1 (0.75, to be exact). That defensive disparity will likely mean Germany will break through multiple times while shutting down Luxembourg’s less-than-stellar offense.

  • Score prediction: 0-3 for Germany

Option #1

  • Bet: Germany Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.02-1.09

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (No)

  • Odds Range: 1.26-1.55

⚽ Kazakhstan vs Belgium
šŸŸļø UEFA World Cup Qualification (Round 9)
Saturday 15 Nov; 15:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • CXSports says: The head-to-head record between these two paints a pretty clear picture — Belgium’s taken the victory in their last five straight matches against Kazakhstan. And their recent form suggests we’ll likely see the same thing happen again this time around — right now, Belgium’s averaging about 2.5 goals per match while only conceding at a rate of about 1.1 (far from perfect, but still strong). Now contrast that with Kazakhstan, who’s only averaging about 1.1 goals per game while conceding at an average of 1.8 goals per match. In short, expect to see Belgium’s tight possession (59%) and accuracy come to the fore in a game where Kazakhstan will likely find itself well and truly in over its head.

  • Score prediction: 4-0 for Belgium

Option #1

  • Bet: Belgium Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.08-1.20

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (No)

  • Odds Range: 1.46-1.80

HALF TIME ENTERTAINMENT

In case you missed it, this week, Cristiano Ronaldo announced the 2026 World Cup would be his last one ever.

Not that this comes as much of a surprise. The dude is 40, after all.

Still, for CR7 fans, the announcement’s probably still a little sad.

So here are our condolences, in the form of a pop Ronaldo quiz courtesy of our friends at Masters of Trivia.

Question: In what year did Ronaldo make his debut with the Portugal national team?

  • A: 2007

  • B: 2005

  • C: 2003

  • D: 2001

SCORE PREDICTIONS [SECOND HALF]

⚽ Liechtenstein vs Wales
šŸŸļø UEFA World Cup Qualification (Round 9)
Saturday 15 Nov; 18:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • CXSports says: Here’s the headline — Wales have beaten Liechtenstein in every single one of their past head-to-head meetings. And not by a small margin, either. Across four head-to-heads, Wales have racked up a solid goal difference of +11 while conceding none. Yep, that’s right — Liechtenstein have not been able to score a single goal in this fixture, and their home advantage offers only a marginal increase in the likelihood of that changing this time around. In short, expect to see Wales dominate despite Liechtenstein’s best attempts to defend with what little organisation it can muster.

  • Score prediction: 0-3 for Wales

Option #1

  • Bet: Wales Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.01-1.03

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (No)

  • Odds Range: 1.07-1.26

⚽ Turkey vs Bulgaria
šŸŸļø UEFA World Cup Qualification (Round 9)
Saturday 15 Nov; 18:00 (Europe/Paris)

  • CXSports says: When these two met last month, Turkey beat Bulgaria handsomely (6-1). And that wasn’t just a case of the Turkish side getting lucky — Bulgaria’s been struggling all around in this campaign (they recently went down 0-4 vs Spain), largely in part due to their poor defensive form. With that said, Bulgaria’s attack isn’t without its merits. While it might not be the best out there, it has shown its ability to break through on occasion, so we can (maybe) expect to see them sneak in a single consolation goal in this game. Of course, with a defense as leaky as it is, that single goal will do nothing to stop the Turkish onslaught, so expect to see this finish with a multiple-goal margin in Turkey’s favor.

  • Score prediction: 3-1 for Turkey

Option #1

  • Bet: Turkey Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.02-1.11

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (No)

  • Odds Range: 1.27-1.47

⚽ Denmark vs Belarus
šŸŸļø UEFA World Cup Qualification (Round 9)
Saturday 15 Nov; 20:45 (Europe/Paris)

  • CXSports says: Denmark’s head-to-head record versus Belarus is telling — not only have they never lost a single match, but their results include some absolutely dominant displays, including a massive 6-0 victory. And while we’re always open to the possibility of a redemption story, this isn’t likely to happen here. Belarus has been struggling way too much in this campaign so far — to date, they’ve lost all their matches and conceded 15 goals (~3.75 per game) while only managing to net two of their own. As such, expect something roughly matching the expectations set by those numbers to be the result of this game.

  • Score prediction: 4-0 for Denmark

Option #1

  • Bet: Denmark Victory

  • Odds Range: 1.01-1.05

Option #2

  • Bet: Both Teams to Score (No)

  • Odds Range: 1.13-1.36
